Rio Tinto and RevoCast have signed a long-term agreement covering aluminium billet for North American extrusion customers. Rio Tinto says it will exclusively market material from RevoCast’s casting facility in Langley, British Columbia.

The offering combines hydropower-based primary aluminium from Rio Tinto’s Kitimat operations with recycled aluminium processed by RevoCast. The Langley plant was commissioned in August 2026 and has annual capacity exceeding 80,000 tonnes, according to the announcement.

Its products serve construction, transportation and other manufacturing markets. The announcement illustrates how primary producers and recyclers can work together to serve downstream customers.
