Agnico Eagle has published an initial package of nine sections and ten appendices for the Upper Beaver Gold Project’s impact statement. The company says the materials cover technical aspects of the proposed production phase and are intended to help communities, Indigenous Nations and other interested parties understand its plans.

The full impact statement was expected later in 2026 when the update was published. Agnico Eagle says this early package is not the formal submission to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada and carries no official comment period.

Technical information may change as studies are completed. Readers following the assessment should distinguish these preliminary materials from the project’s eventual formal submission.
