Eldorado Gold says its Skouries project in northern Greece produced its first copper-gold concentrate on September 8. The milestone followed the introduction of ore to the crusher in July and commissioning work across the processing plant’s grinding, flotation and thickening systems.

The company reported an ore stockpile exceeding 4.6 million tonnes and targeted commercial production for the fourth quarter of 2026. Temporary generation was supporting early operations while the project awaited final work for a national-grid connection.

These production and connection schedules were company expectations at the announcement date. First concentrate is a commissioning milestone and should not be read as confirmation of commercial production.
